According to data compiled by STR Global, hotels in the Asia Pacific region experienced mixed results in the three key performance metrics during November 2013 when reported in U.S. dollars. The regionís occupancy ended the month with a 1.1% increase to 72.4%; ADR dropped 4.9% to US$123.13; and RevPAR was down 3.8% to US$89.12.

Cathay Pacific has confirmed t it will make some adjustments to its Middle East network, effective from the 2014 summer schedule which commences on 30 March 2014. Flights to and from Bahrain will be increased to a daily flight with an intermediary stop at Dubai. This daily flight replaces the existing four-times-per week-flight to Bahrain with an intermediary stop at Riyadh.
