The first phase of registration for the much anticipated Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014 will start Tuesday, 15 October 2013, at 7am with the 42.195km Marathon event. Registration for the Half Marathon, 10km and Wheelchair Races will take place on 22 October, 29 October and 5 November respectively.

It was only on Tuesday that we reported that registration for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2013 would open on 24 October. Now, just over a day later, the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association (HKAAA) has confirmed that due to the overwhelming response, the online enrolment for the Marathon and Half Marathon is already closed.
