59. Metrojet Signs Maintenance and Service Support Contract with CEAEA
Metrojet has signed an agreement to provide exclusive maintenance and service support for China Eastern Airlines Executive Air (CEAEA). The agreement will involve Metrojet providing training, inspection and heavy maintenance service support to CEAEA’s fleet, which includes Gulfstream, Embraer, Cessna, Hawker and Bombardier amongst its current portfolio of 13 aircraft.

The deal means that Nordic Regional Airlines (NoRRA), the company which operates Finnair’s regional ATR traffic, will benefit from customised support which will help it better anticipate maintenance costs while enhancing the dispatch reliability of its fleet of 12 ATR 72-500.

The new LAN Peru maintenance hangar spans 145,312 square feet with 32,292 square feet of offices, 96,875 square feet of platforms and 16,146 square feet of workshops, for the maintenance of Airbus A320 family (including the Airbus A319) and Boeing 767 aircraft. LAN Peru trained 300 Peruvian mechanics to service the facility.
