209. Expedia Expands Partnership with Amadeus
Expedia and Amadeus have a signed a new global, long-term agreement. The agreement enables Expedia to offer air, car, rail, cruise, and hotel products through the Amadeus global distribution system, and adds Orbitz Worldwide brands in addition to the Expedia, Hotwire, Travelocity, Wotif Group, Expedia Affiliate Network and Egencia brands covered by the previous agreement.

Starwood has signed its second Aloft hotel in Seoul, South Korea. Owned by Shin Chang, the Aloft Seoul Myeongdong is a new new-build hotel which is scheduled to open in February 2017. Located at 104 Myeongdong in the Jung-gu sub-district, Aloft Seoul Myeongdong is located in the heart of Myeongdong, a major shopping district and tourist destination.

Air Astana, the national airline of Kazakhstan, has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo. The aircraft is on an operating lease from Aercap, with the deal including two further A321neo and one A320neo aircraft for delivery planned in 2018.
