Scoot, the low cost wing of Singapore Airlines, has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo. Scoot has placed orders for 39 A320neo aircraft under its fleet renewal programme. The new addition complements the airline’s existing fleet of 27 A320ceo Family aircraft.

Royal Caribbean is to build three new ships for Silversea Cruises, the ultra-luxury and expedition cruise brand that recently joined the RCL family. This is the first Boeing airplane to join the Tahitian airline, which plans to use the longest-range Dreamliner to replace aging A340s and connect its home base in the South Pacific with world capitals such as Paris, Tokyo and Los Angeles.

Delta has extended the real-time tracking of unit load devices (ULDs) to cargo businesses based outside of the airport. This will enable customers to have end-to-end tracking of the ULDs starting in their own warehouses throughout the journey to the final destination.
