37. United Airlines to Launch B787-9 Flights Between San Francisco and Hangzhou
United Airlines is to launch thrice weekly nonstop flights between its West Coast Asia/Pacific hub at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) in China, beginning 13 July 2016 (westbound), subject to government approval. United will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to operate the service.

SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will soon begin flights to its eighth destination in China. Subject to applicable approvals, SilkAir will operate services to Hangzhou four times a week from 27 June 2014. The new service will be operated using the airline’s Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, featuring both Business and Economy Class cabins.
