178. Osaka’s Peach Aviation Takes Delivery of First A320
Peach Aviation, one of the very first low cost airlines in Japan, has taken delivery of its first A320 through a leasing contract with GECAS. The Japanese carrier will lease 10 A320s. Peach Aviation’s A320 aircraft seats 180 passengers in a single-class layout and is powered by CFM International engines.

Boeing's 737 MAX program has selected a 68-inch fan diameter for the optimized engine design that its says will provide the lowest fuel burn and operating costs in the single-aisle market. The 737 MAX has received more than 600 order commitments from eight airlines, up from 496 airplanes from five airlines when the program launched in August.
