On Sunday, Air Canada flight AC7007 departed O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa en route to Edmonton, Alberta with 300 South African firefighters on board. The aircraft is carrying the largest number of wildland firefighters ever brought into Canada. Air Canada's Boeing 787 Dreamliners feature three cabins of service with enhanced definition individual on-demand personal entertainment offering a wide range of movies, short films, TV programs and audio selections at every seat throughout the aircraft.
175. Air Canada to Increase Ottawa - Heathrow Capacity; Suspend Frankfurt Service
Air Canada has confirmed plans to increase capacity between Ottawa and London Heathrow. The airline will commence dedicated year-round daily flights from 29 March 2020 using 255-seat Boeing 787-8 (pictured).
