Starwood has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Indonesia with the opening of the Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Seminyak, a conversion from Vasanti Seminyak Resort. The resort is the second Four Points hotel on the popular tourist island of Bali, and fifth in Indonesia.

Mr Agus Suananda has been appointed as General Manager of Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali. Wyndham Jivva Bali will be the group’s first managed hotel in Indonesia, located on Bali’s Lepang Beach, Klungkung. Scheduled to open in September 2016, the US$22 million beachfront resort designed by Indonesian architect Gregorius Supie will comprise eight villas and 214 apartments.
111. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft to Open Beijing Office
JSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCAC) has unveiled plans to open the company’s first overseas client liaison office. The Beijing office, scheduled to be opened by the end of 2016, will specialize in marketing, promotion, certification and arrangements for financial support of Sukhoi Superjet 100, Sukhoi BusinessJet and SportJet by Sukhoi aircraft sales.

Garuda Indonesia has ordered 50 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, valued at $4.9 billion at current list prices. The flag carrier of Indonesia will purchase 46 Boeing 737 MAX 8s and will convert existing orders for four Boeing 737-800s to 737 MAX 8s.
