Etihad Airways, along with its Unit Load Device (ULD) partner Jettainer, has embarked on a program to replace 3,000 containers from the original aluminium ULD fleet with environmentally friendly lightweight versions. 160. HKIA Reports Strong Start to 2012
Boosted by strong Chinese New Year (CNY) traffic, Hong Kong International Airport saw its January 2012 passenger numbers and aircraft movements rise by 12.5% and 5.8% respectively to 4.9 million and 29,000. A new daily record of approximately 187,000 passengers was also registered on 28 January, the sixth day of CNY.
