129. EgyptAir and Etihad Airways Sign Codeshare Agreement
Etihad Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with EgyptAir. Due to be introduced in phases from 1 March 2017, the initial phase of the agreement will see Etihad Airways place its ‘EY’ code on EgyptAir operated flights between Abu Dhabi and Cairo, while EgyptAir will place its ‘MS’ code on Etihad Airways flights between the two capital cities.

Gulf Air will take delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in April 2018. The aircraft will operate the airline’s long haul routes, gradually replacing its Airbus A330s. A total of 5 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft are scheduled to have entered Gulf Air’s fleet by end-2018 with an additional 2 aircraft arriving by end-2019 and 3 arriving by end-2020.
135. Vietjet to Launch Daily Hanoi - Dong Hoi Flights
Vietjet is to launch flights between Hanoi and the capital city of Quang Bing Province, Dong Hoi on 1 June 2017. The flight from Hanoi is scheduled to take off at 06:40 to arrive at 07:35. The return flight departs Dong Hoi at 08:05 to land in Hanoi at 09:00.
136. Etihad Airways to Upgrade All Sydney Flights with Airbus A380
All of Etihad Airways’ 14 weekly flights on the popular Abu Dhabi – Sydney route will be operated with its flagship Airbus A380 aircraft, effective 29 October 2017. The current daily A380 Sydney flights will be joined by a second daily superjumbo service, upgraded from a 328-seat Boeing 777-300ER.
