100. Airbus Establishes Subsidiary in Thailand; Recruiting Thai Residents
Airbus has established a new subsidiary in Thailand for the production of flight operations data for use by airlines worldwide. The centre, to be named Airbus Flight Operations Services, will produce electronic versions of the standard flight operations manuals, improving the growing use of the Electronic Flight Bag for all Airbus aircraft types.
101. FRHI Signs Fairmont Hotel in Zhengzhou, China
FRHI has signed an agreement with Henan Donggang Real Estate for the development of a Fairmont hotel in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province in central China. Projected to open in 2018, the 350-room Fairmont Zhengzhou hotel will be part of a new mixed-use development in the CBD of Zhengdong New Town, an upcoming financial and business hub in Zhengzhou.
102. Qatar Airways to Launch Cargo Flights to Brussels and Shanghai; Increase HK
Qatar Airways Cargo is preparing to launch two new freighter destinations, Brussels in Belgium and Shanghai in China. Brussels will be served four times weekly by an Airbus A330F freighter, effective 1 October. The freighter will fly via Entebbe to Brussels on Wednesdays and Sundays and via Nairobi to Brussels on Mondays and Fridays.
