All British Airways' direct flights between Heathrow and Beijing, China will move to new state-of-the-art Daxing airport from 27 October 2019. The new airport, approximately 50km from both Beijing city centre and the Xiong'an New Area and only 80km from Tianjin, features over 300 shops, restaurants and airline lounges.

The additional area brings new banquette seating, dining chairs and tables, and has been designed to maximise power and data outlets for customers’ devices.
