Following delivery of their first A380 in July 2008, Emirates took delivery of its 25th A380 in October 2012. All Emirates’ A380s are powered by Engine Alliance GP7200 engines. The airline has 140 A380 on order.

Alaska Airlines will launch new nonstop services between Seattle and San Antonio, Texas, starting 17 September, and from San Diego to Orlando, Florida, from 11 October, 2012. The San Antonio services will depart Seattle at 12:30 daily, arriving in San Antonio at 18:35. Flights to Seattle will depart San Antonio at 19:25 daily, and arrive in Seattle at 21:55.
