In aggregate, airlines based in the Asia Pacific region carried 15.7 million international passengers in November, a 4% increase compared to the same month last year, maintaining the trend for 2011. International passenger traffic measured in revenue passenger kilometre (RPK) terms grew by 3.5%.

AirAsia X Berhad is to launch 4 times weekly flights to Narita. Thai AirAsia X, Thailand’s first low-fare, long-haul carrier, will also launch flights from Narita and Osaka to Bangkok respectively. 22. KLM to Launch Luanda Flights
Effective 14 November 2011, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will launch scheduled flights between Amsterdam and Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda, Angola. Luanda will become KLM’s 71st intercontinental destination.
