Air Canada has reported a record system load factor for December 2013 of 82.7%, versus 82.1% in December 2013, an increase of 0.6 percentage points. System traffic increased 4.8% on a system-wide capacity increase of 4.0%. For the full year 2013, load factor was a record 82.8%, versus 82.7%, an increase of 0.1 percentage points.

JAL Group carried a total of 426,480 passengers on its international flights and 1,635,101 passengers domestically during the 17 day New Year vacation period in Japan between 20 December 2013 and 5 January 2014. The number of passengers on JAL's international routes went up 3.2% when compared to the same period last year, against a 2.5% increase in the number of available seats.
56. Air Algerie Orders 3 New ATR 72-600s
Air Algerie has signed a purchase agreement for 3 new ATR 72-600s, valued at $74.1 million at current list price. The entry into service is expected from end 2014 through 2015. When delivered, the 68 seat new-comers will join an existing ATR fleet at the airline that currently includes 12 ATR 72-500s flying primarily on domestic and short regional routes.
