The
Gallery Hotel
The
Gallery Hotel was formerly known as the Gallery Evason
The
G@llery Hotel, Singapore's first riverside designer "HIP" hotel.
Anchored to the city on the famous historical Singapore river - a waterfront
living experience.
Located in the trendy Robertson Quay entertainment district. Recently,
received a "MERIT" SIA - ICI COLOUR 2000 award (architecture
category) from the Singapore Institute of Architects and was quoted "Hotel
- the whole of Singapore is talking about". This has positioned The
G@llery Hotel as "The Signature Business Class Hotel, a unique experience
unrivalled".
All
rooms are highly interactive with the State-Of-The-Art computerised automation
feature, allowing guests internet connectivity with unlimited access free
of charge, 24 hours a day. The G@llery Hotel is all about comfort, intelligence
and romance, the cool style that reflects not only "an eye for experience
and detail" but also the desire to create a place that will be impervious
to the fickle finger of fashion.
Along
the street frontage, the eye-catching, cylindrical pavilions play host
to food and beverage outlets, as well as entertainment setups, like the
ultra hip, exclusive Liquid Room dance club. Extensive glass ceilings
encourage al fresco dining. Within the hotel itself, the first two floors
feature a mix of high-end specialty retail outlets, where interactive
shopping is the buzzword.
Three
signature restaurants with international and local cuisine serve up gastronomic
delights. The hotel also offers an exclusive spa, spread out over two
floors. The holistic experience begins even at the entrance, when you
literally walk over water. Surrounding water curtains for walls, white
sandstone and slate from Bali, and new age music enhance the setting.
The Orb and the Liquid Room feature ultra modern F&B outlets.
G@llery
Hotel aims to live up to its name. Within and without, the entire building
will serve as a showpiece gallery. Appointing the LaSalle-SIA College
of Arts as its curator of art, the hotel will hold new exhibitions every
three months. These will encompass a multi-media presentation, installation
works, even dance and theatre.
With its upbeat take on Mondernism, sensitive tribute to the historical
warehouse district and artsy interactive ambience, the G@llery Hotel is
all set to make an impact. Hip redefined? Exactly, and with a sixth sense.
Shiny
stainless steel has re-appeared in the futuristic styling of the lobby.
Guests preference for privacy has largely erased the need for the "see
and be seen" lobby. Lobby space is becoming an extension of meeting
space, offering a less intimate venue than guestrooms for one-on-one meetings.
24-hour room service and 3 signature outlets: - "The Restaurant",
"The Bar", "The Pool Bar" concentrate on cuisine that
can be marketed to intra-regional travellers, expatriates and the large
Japanese and Chinese populations of Singapore. The outlets unique style
is part roadside dinner and part industrial warehouse with built-in furniture
and the tinted double glazed hi-performance window glass panels and monochromatic
colour scheme express a distinctive avant-garde signature. The one-of-a-kind
cantilevered glass-sided lap pool design is gutsy, industrial and artistic,
an apt metaphor for the G@llery Hotel itself.

metallic shelving feature prominently in wardrobe cabinets.
