Peninsula
Hotel Bangkok
The Peninsula
Bangkok is one, if not, the best hotel in Bangkok |
The
Peninsula Hotel Bangkok sits
majestically on the Chaophraya River, with all its guestrooms overlooking
the pulsating city of Bangkok. The Peninsula Bangkok has become in a
very short time, everything that you would expect from a Peninsula Hotel,
that is to say one of, if not the best hotel in the city.
The 370 rooms of the Peninsula Bangkok, incorporate
"guestroom comfort technology" to such an extent you will
not really want to leave the hotel. The technology centres on the custom
designed bedside electronic control panel, from where guests can regulate
temperature, lighting, telephones, and audio visual systems with the
simple touch of a button. The panel also contains a world time clock
that automatically defaults to a guests home time, when they check in
at reception so the guest needs no longer try to calculate what time
it is back home. Certain rooms even have electronic curtains !
The luxuriously appointed marble bathrooms at the
Peninsula Bangkok alone will leave you amazed with each bathroom having
a separate powerful shower, and the bathtub incorporates a television
which has steam free screens, and a very convenient remote control panel
that allows you to watch your favourite programme as you soak. This
new design also incorporates an amazing feature, that allows you to
use the phone hands free whilst in the bath, with a function that automatically
mutes the sound on the television and radio, and also digitally filters
the sound of running water and the echo commonly found with bathroom
telephones !
The rooms themselves are immaculate and are of the
highest quality. The Peninsula Bangkok is one hotel where you will not
want to leave but there is one thing we can guarantee - you will return.
