Hotel
Ibis North Point
The
Hotel Ibis North Point was formerly known as the Century Inn North Point
Hotel Ibis
North Point opened its doors beginning 2001 and has had quite an impact
on the hotel industry in Hong Kong. It is safe to say that the Hotel Ibis
North Point is unlike any other property in Hong Kong especially any that
is managed by such a highly respected and innovative company as Accor.
The location
of the Hotel Ibis North Point is excellent as it is only a few steps from
the exit A1 of the North Point MTR (the underground/subway system) which
gives you easy and quick access to most of Hong Kong.
The Ibis
Hotel North Point is a budget hotel which provides all a leisure traveller
or business traveller could need on a visit to Hong Kong. The rooms are very small, yet very nicely finished with a bathroom that incorporates,
shower, toilet and hand basin. All rooms have individually controlled
air conditioning, mini bar, an electronic safe and colour TV with some
satellite channels. As the Ibis Hotel North Point aims to keep its
rates very low it has had to maximise space within the rooms (hence the
size) and therefore there are no cupboards within the rooms, instead the
hotel has provided some innovative coat hanger facilities that allow you
to hang up the all important suit. The rooms all have a compact working
area that allows you to comfortably work on your laptop and connect easily
to the internet, all the plugs and sockets have been thoughtfully placed
above the working area for easy access.
Due to the
shape of the Hotel Ibis North Point you have a choice of two views, either
a nice harbour view that looks out over the Hung Hom area of Kowloon,
or a rear view. For obvious reasons we recommend a harbour view however
if that is not available or you opt for a rear view then we would suggest
you ask for a room above the 20th floor.
