Mae Sot, in Tak Province, is nestled in the cool northern mountains along the Thai-Myanmar border, 500 kilometers from Bangkok and easily accessible by air or by land only 10 minutes drive from Mae Sot Airport. Set amid the relative remoteness of pristine jungle hills the Central Mae Sot Hill Hotel spells pure adventure.

120 well-appointed rooms and suites provide modern day comfort in an enchanting blend with nature. The River Moei Coffee Shop serves Thai and International specialities in a relaxing ambience. Recreation facilities include a swimming pool, massage service, two tennis courts, and golf driving range nearby. And to the meeting planner beckons the Mae Sot Ballrooms, which can accommodate up to 400 persons for banquet or conference. In addition, the Pha Charoen and Sob Moei Rooms can comfortably seat 60-150 guests for smaller functions and private parties.

The misty mountains of Mae Sot are dotted with quaint villages where travellers can take a first hand look at the colorful lifestyles of several hill tribe communities.  Off-the-beaten-track adventures also abound, such as taking a waterfall tour and enjoying an elephant trek on the way back; admiring the beautiful rock formations and underground stream of the spectacular Mae Usu Cave; or shopping for gems and Burmese handicraft on the banks of the Moei River which forms the border with Myanmar.
